6th Astyanax International Meeting

Hotel Misión Grand Juriquilla

March 17th-20th, 2019

This biannual meeting brings together research groups working on Mexican cavefish and related biological systems from around the world. The meeting provides opportunities for trainees of all levels to present their work.  For the second time, the meeting will be held at Hotel Misión Grand, a historic 18th century farmhouse located in the heart of Juriquilla.  Attendees can fly directly into Queretaro Airport (QRO) or use a direct bus (~3 hrs) from Mexico City Airport (MEX).  The meeting will begin the evening of March 17th, and end with a banquet on the night of March 20th.

PIs/Postdocs: $900
Students: $550
PIs (Mexico) : $650
Free to presenting trainees from Mexico (not including hotel costs).  Additional scholarship opportunities may be available.
Registration includes hotel room, all meals, and banquet costs.  Add $200 for individual rooms.
